Inflation in the Netherlands rose sharply in January to 7.6 percent compared to the same month a year earlier. This is reported by Statistics Netherlands (CBS) based on the European harmonized method. The figure comes ahead of the announcement of inflation in the eurozone by the European statistical office Eurostat.
