Infantino re-elected FIFA president until 2027: “An honour”

Gianni Infantino has been confirmed at the helm of Fifa for another four years, until 2027. The only candidate, the Italian-Swiss manager, 53 years old on 23 March, was chosen by acclamation for the presidency on the occasion of the 73rd FIFA Congress in progress in Kigali, Rwanda.

Infantino had been elected for the first time in February 2016, then the new four-year mandate in June 2019 and today the further confirmation by the delegates of the 211 federations.
