Harrison Ford plays archaeologist and adventurer Indiana “Indy” Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark. In 1936, Indy was commissioned by the US government to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis could get hold of it. With his characteristic fedora hat and whip, he embarks on daring adventures around the world in the first of the adventure series.
“Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark” was released in 1981. Steven Spielberg directed it – and with great success. Eventually, the film won four Oscars. This was followed by three more episodes of the franchise until 2008. A fifth installment, working title Indiana Jones 5, is also in production. The sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is slated for release in 2023.

Since June 16, 2022, “Indiana Jones – Raiders of the Lost Ark” has been available individually for the first time as a 4K UHD Blu-ray in a limited steel book including a mini poster.
The film marks the first of four limited releases in the Indiana Jones film series. Fans can also look forward to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom on July 14th, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on August 18th, and Look forward to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on September 22nd.
