Incurable cancer of Alyssa (13) successfully treated thanks to experimental technique

Alyssa, a 13-year-old girl, has been successfully treated with an innovative technique that has removed an aggressive form of cancer from her body. British doctors used the six-year-old CRISPR technique to fight leukaemia. It is the first time a patient has received genetically modified T cells, according to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.
