AND after having talked about it so much, the fateful date with which ADI will start, the inclusion allowancethe measure that sent the citizen’s income into the attic, has arrived: from January 26th we will start with the new contribution aimed at families in which there is at least one minor, disabled or over-60 member.
Inclusion allowance, payments begin
The applications submitted so far have been over 563 thousand, according to the latest data provided by INPS, and of these 88% are former recipients of Citizenship Income. The first to receive payments next Friday will be those who have passed the checks between approximately 450 thousand applications submitted starting from December 18th and by January 7th. The potential audience of the new measure is 737 thousand households and the estimated average amount is 635 euros which will be paid with the Inclusion Card.
Times and deadlines
After the first slot on January 26th, the second payment will arrive for applications submitted starting from January 8th and by January 31st, from February 15th. For applications submitted in February, and so on, payment will be made from the 15th of the month following the month in which the Pad was signed, i.e. the Digital activation agreement, essential to obtain the check. From a practical point of view, it is a formal agreement, which must be signed on the national job search portal SIISL. Here the applicant must provide essential information for the activation of the plan SFL, Work Training Supporta work activation measure which involves the participation of beneficiaries in training, qualification and professional requalification projects. Once fully operational, payment will be made for everyone on the 27th of the relevant month.
The greatest requests from Campania and Calabria
Of the groups that have so far made the ADI request, again on the basis of INPS data, almost half are concentrated in two regions, as has already happened for Citizenship Income: Campania (26.7%) e Sicily (21.8%). Following, among other regions: 9.6% comes from Puglia8.1% from Lazio7.7% from Calabria and 6.2% from Lombardy. On the resources front, approximately 5.5 billion have been allocated for the Inclusion Allowance for 2024 and 1.5 billion for training and employment support.
Who can apply for the inclusion allowance
Just to remind you who can apply for the Inclusion Allowance, it must be said that the measure it is recognized to the units they have in their family:
- a member with a disability;
- a minor;
- a member at least 60 years of age;
- a person in a disadvantaged situation and included in a care and assistance program of local social and health services certified by the public administration.
The applicant’s family unit must then be jointly in possession of an ISEE of less than 9,360 eurosbut the amount changes if there are minors.
