Berdan Togay, who lives in America, filed a lawsuit against Nazan Öncel, the wife of his father, Akşit Togay, who died as a result of a heart attack at home four years ago, in order to get his share of the inheritance. Togay also filed an ecrimisil (unjustified occupation compensation) lawsuit against Öncel for his villa in Kemerburgaz.
The court partially accepted the case and, as a result of the determination made by the expert, decided to pay Togay 413 TL, the six-day ecrimisil amount of the villa where Öncel lived.

After this development, Berdan Togay applied to the court for the second time and filed a lawsuit for the collection of 22 months’ worth of compensation of 60 thousand TL. Nazan Öncel initiated a lawsuit for the dissolution of the partnership.
While the two cases were pending, Nazan Öncel’s lawyer, Sadettin Dayıoğlu, made a statement: Nazan Hanım and her stepson Berdan Togay have mutually abandoned their lawsuits against each other. Both sides have been settled.
