INASKA is known for its high-quality swim and activewear made from recycled nylon. With the new EARTH collection, the label is presenting new, colorful bikinis, bathing suits and leggings this summer, celebrating women’s bodies in all their forms and remaining true to the triad of sustainability, aesthetics and functionality.
With warm earth tones in the summer of 2022
As the name suggests, the sustainable swim & activewear label celebrates the earth in all the colors it gives us with this year’s summer collection: dark forest green, bright amber and warm earth tones. The new color nuances complement the already existing and very popular palette of dark red, petrol, black and khaki, which is being relaunched for this season. INASKA invites you to mix and match and stays true to its line. “We firmly believe that this is how we break collection cycles and that our customers benefit from being able to complement their existing sets and styles,” says Franziska Hannig, founder of the label.
Style variety meets sustainability, functionality & aesthetics
With the EARTH collection, INASKA is also presenting two new styles and is thus meeting the wishes of customers: the bikini bottoms FLOW with a medium-high seat flatter the hips and can be worn in three variants thanks to the innovative, wide waistband. Another highlight is the color accentuation of the waistband and panties. The new model bridges the gap between Brazilian, regular and high-waist cuts.
Another new style is the short leggings CHILL. The trousers end above the knee, are light as a feather like their big sisters and fit like a second skin thanks to a minimum of seams. The shorts are not only perfect for the sports session, but also casually combined with an oversized shirt or hoodie, a popular fashion piece.
As with the pants, INASKA also offers a variety of bikini tops. From a halter bikini to a multi-way top to a sports bikini – the clever lacing promises light to strong support and makes a visual statement. A simple alternative is the PURE top with wide straps and a low back, which can be turned into two colors thanks to the double-layered fabric.
In order to avoid unnecessary pressure points and wearing parts, the label completely dispenses with the use of knots, plastic fasteners and metal eyelets. This is also the case with the swimsuit by INASKA, which, like the bikini tops, impresses with its adjustable straps.
All INASKA models are produced exclusively in Europe and are made from 78% recycled nylon, which was obtained from old fishing nets. The flat and light high-tech material offers an excellent fit, a soft feel and excellent coverage. The fabric also impresses with its quick-drying, pilling-resistant and UV-protective properties. All INASKA designs are multifunctional and, in addition to use in water, are also suitable for outdoor and indoor sports as well as everyday life.
INASKA celebrates every body
A healthy body awareness and diversity has been a top priority at INASKA since the very beginning and shows real women with curves, dents and scars in all their campaigns – women who proudly wear their signs from different stages of life. For the new season, the label has adjusted its sizes to further optimize the fit. The most requested styles are now offered from size XS to XXL. “Every woman’s body is unique, through the exchange and fitting with our customers, we have been able to offer a more inclusive and realistic size scaling. So that we are getting closer and closer to our goal: to make all strong and beautiful women happy with our swimwear and sportswear,” says Elisa Braun, co-managing director of INASKA.
Upcycling by INASKA
It is in INASKA’s DNA not to waste any resources or leave them unused. Therefore, the label investigates the question of what should be done with leftover materials or articles that did not meet the taste of the customers. With the upcycling partner Bridge & Tunnel, new products are created from leftover materials and samples, thus extending the purpose of life and equipping them with new functions. Practical arm pockets and running belts with pockets were made from the breathable, quick-drying fabric of the leggings – products with meaning and functionality that perfectly complement the INASKA outfits.
All bikini bottoms cost EUR 55, all tops EUR 65, the new short tight EUR 65, the swimsuit EUR 125 and leggings between EUR 80 and EUR 90. The running belt is priced at EUR 39, the arm bag at EUR 29. All new models are now available in the online shop at www.INASKA.com.
