In Zorgvlied, the association shows off the entrance letters of Safari Park de Beekse Bergen

Safari Park De Beekse Bergen has lost the letters at the entrance, plus a number of signs along the public road. New Year’s Eve association Tied Zat from Zorgvlied has stolen the letters, signs and a cloth to make a statement.

“Every day it is full of so-called wolf tourism, we look like a safari park. Only no one adheres to the rules,” said a statement. The association points out illegal parking, people blocking the road and approaching and feeding wild animals, including wolves. It causes annoyance to the New Year’s Eve association and the residents of Zorgvlied and surrounding villages.

Mirre Mulder and Dominique Veenstra from Tied Zat: “In the Brabant safari park, tourists must adhere to the rules to view the animals there.” Tied Zat also calls the Drents-Friese Wold a safari park, due to the presence of the wolf, the red deer, Scottish highlanders and other grazers. “The message is: If you want to come here, you stick to the rules, you behave and do not do things that are not allowed in the ‘Drents-Friese Wold safari park’.”
