In the wake of Alexander De Croo on the NATO border: “Our army will have to stay here for years to come”

Prime Minister Alexander De Croo wanted to see with his own eyes what was going on there on the eastern NATO border. In Poland, he saw Ukrainians dragging their entire belongings in a briefcase. In Romania he ate an unsavory mush with a dozen Belgian soldiers. He sees a bleak future. “Our army will have to stay here for years to come. Because if you want peace, you have to show that you can wage war.”
