To star in the reality TV series Sister Wives Kody Brown, 53, has been sharing his everyday life based on a polyamorous lifestyle with his four wives and children to the delight of TV viewers. In the episode that can be seen in the United States this week, it becomes clear that the separation from one wife is hard on Kody.
In November, Kody’s third wife, Christine Brown told the public that she was breaking up with Kody. The couple was together for 25 years. In the episode, Kody’s three other wives hear the news, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown.
Officially, Kody is only married to Robyn.
Doubts
Kody, on the other hand, says that he already doubts whether his family’s polyamorous lifestyle will last in the future. Yahoo! says that Kody has stated that he feels that “this family life is not working”.
– My life is like limbo when Christine leaves. I don’t know what it looks like from the outside, Kody states.
He says that he wrestles with exactly the same thoughts as people when they leave a monogamous union.
– I’ve had such an angry phase of divorce here, and I haven’t handled it very well, Kody says in a recent episode.
