Ukrainian security forces tried to attack positions on the territory of the LPR, said the official representative of the people’s militia of the self-proclaimed republic, Ivan Filiponenko.
According to him, the servicemen of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack near the village of Pionerskoye at around 5:00 am, forcing the Seversky Donets River. According to him, as a result of the clash, the enemy suffered losses and retreated.
In Donetsk, there was a clash between the special forces of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic and the “sabotage-terrorist group” of Ukraine, two people were injured. This was stated by the Ministry of State Security (MGB) of the DPR, transmits “Donetsk news agency”.
According to the agency, the saboteurs planned sabotage at electrical substations, a gas pipeline and filter stations in the DPR. The forces of the Ministry of State Security blocked them, while trying to detain two servicemen of the special forces of the republic were injured.
“Through the actions of the special forces of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR, the criminal activities of representatives of the terrorist Kiev regime were suppressed,” the department concluded.
