It was announced back in September that RTL had secured the broadcasting rights to the NFL. Since then, German NFL fans have been discussing and puzzling over which team the TV station will start the season with. On Friday, May 26, the wait will finally be over when RTL invites you to a press conference to announce their TV faces for the coming season. The press conference will be broadcast live at 11 a.m sport.de (at the top of the window).
Jan Stecker will definitely be there, as well as the two former NFL pros Markus Kuhn and Sebastian Vollmer. The three of them had already followed the NFL Draft live in Kansas City and will be back in front of the camera again this fall.
RTL is looking forward to the new NFL season and the eagerly awaited announcement:
“The countdown is on: from the coming season, RTL will be the new TV home of the NFL in Germany. We have a great team at the start,” explains the TV station.
More NFL football than ever!
At the end of April, RTL started broadcasting the NFL Draft. On NITRO, RTL+ and on the web sport.de accompanied the selection of young NFL talents live in Kansas City. For the first time, a German television crew was there to broadcast the draft live.
A total of almost 80 live broadcasts are planned over the course of the season. Whether at RTL, NITRO or on RTL+German NFL fans will be able to see more football than ever before.
From Friday it will be clear which faces will appear on the screens in German living rooms.
