The Food Bank, which provides food parcels to poor households in the municipality of Groningen, still had 750 households as customers at the start of the corona crisis. What followed was a huge drop. ,,In the end we only had 450 customers, the decrease was not normal”, said chairman Maria Jongsma.
In the city of Groningen, the number of customers of the Food Bank is increasing again: almost 500 households are already receiving regular food packages.
