Henk Lategan completed the 4th stage of the 2026 Dakar Rally in first place in the automobile category and Tosha Schareina in the motorcycle class.

The 4th stage of the 48th Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia was held on the 451-kilometer track in the city of Al-Ula.

South African driver Lategan from the Toyota Gazoo Racing team took first place in the automobile class with a time of 4 hours, 47 minutes and 08 seconds.

Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah (The Dacia Sandriders) came in second, 7 minutes and 3 seconds behind the South African pilot, and Polish Marek Goczal (Energylandia Rally Team) came in third, 14 minutes and 15 seconds behind the leader.

Henk Lategan rose to the top in the general classification with a time of 16 hours, 29 minutes and 15 seconds.

THE WINNER IN MOTORCYCLE WAS TOSHA SCHAREINA

In the motorcycle category, Tosha Schareina from the Monster Energy Honda team took first place in the stage, which she finished in 4 hours 31 minutes 56 seconds.

The Spanish pilot was followed by American Ricky Brabec (Monster Energy Honda), who crossed the finish line 6 seconds later, and American Skyler Howes (Monster Energy Honda), who came 10 seconds behind.

Tosha Schareina came out on top in the general classification with a time of 16 hours, 45 minutes and 40 seconds.

The 5th stage of the Dakar Rally will be held on January 8 on the 356-kilometer track between the city of Al-Ula and the city of Hail.

The 13-stage Dakar Rally, hosted by Saudi Arabia for the 7th time in a row, will end in Yanbu city on January 17.
