Bronze was taken with a large handicap from the pursuers: 12 thousand 386 Haval F7 against 11 101 Geely Coolray. The top 5 sales of Chinese cars was closed by another model from Haval – the F7x coupe-crossover. 10 thousand 336 Russians bought this car for themselves.
Chinese automakers in 2021 doubled their share of the Russian market, capturing 7% of the total “pie”. In total, 115 thousand 700 Chinese cars were sold. The top ten Chinese bestsellers also included Haval Jolion, Geely Atlas, Chery Tiggo 8 PRO, Exeed TXL and Haval H9.

The record success inspired the representatives of the company so much that in 2022 they will open an engine production plant in the Uzlovaya industrial park in the Tula region. About 4 billion rubles have been invested in this enterprise. Tula for the automobile brand of the Chinese company Great Wall Motor is the first foreign full-cycle enterprise. First of all, the Tula automobile plant Haval investments exceeded half a billion dollars. Products from Tula are exported: in 2021, 1,561 cars were sold to the CIS countries.
