In Russia, 24,072 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected per day, during the same period 4,275 people were hospitalized with this diagnosis, which is 1.5% more than on March 25, follows from the data of the operational headquarters, which published in Telegram.
Most cases of infection were registered in St. Petersburg (1145), Sverdlovsk region (1101), Voronezh region (975) and Moscow (925).
WHO allowed the end of the coronavirus pandemic by the end of 2022
Moscow and the Krasnodar Territory (192 and 172 people, respectively) ranked first in terms of the number of hospitalized patients, followed by St. Petersburg (132) and the Nizhny Novgorod Region (123).
During the day, 395 patients with coronavirus died in the country (more than 367 thousand in total). Most of the deaths were in St. Petersburg (25 patients), Moscow (23) and the Krasnoyarsk Territory (20).
