By the end of 2021, under the Far Eastern Hectare program, more than 20.4 thousand plots of land were transferred to citizens, RBC was told in the information policy department of the region.
“As of December 31, 2021, as part of the implementation of the Far Eastern Hectare program in the Primorsky Territory, 20,433 land plots were provided for free use, including 2,640 in 2021,” the report says.
Earlier, the presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, accused the municipal employees of Primorsky Krai of deliberately delaying the process of transferring ownership of Far Eastern hectares. After the five-year term for a hectare application expires, officials seize the land, he said, accusing officials of discrediting the law and helping.
Trutnev threatened to take away the functions of transferring hectares from municipalities to the federal center. He suggested setting up a commission until the approval of which the withdrawal orders would not come into force.
