This weekend, Meppel was briefly a city from the Victorian era. The Dickens Festival was organized for the third time. The entire city center then breathes the 19th century atmosphere of the life of the British writer Charles Dickens.
It was a busy affair today in the center of Meppel. Dozens of extras created a street theater together and several choirs filled the city center with Christmas carols.
