Top crowds at the recreational area around Pavilion Nijstad in Hoogeveen this weekend. The Dutch Cyclocross Championships were held there. Hundreds of visitors today saw how Lucinda Brand and Joris Nieuwenhuis won their national title among the elite riders.
There was also slipping and sliding on and around the course on the second day of the National Championships. Eeldenaar Tibor Del Grosso today became Dutch cyclo-cross champion among the promises for the second year in a row. Nynke Jochems won among the newcomers yesterday and Ron Veeke in the over-60s class.
