Full house tonight during the GigaG festival in Pesse. The music festival for people with disabilities attracted many hundreds of visitors, who gathered in a party tent on Hendrik Reindersweg.
Henk Harders kicked off tonight, after which Belinda Kinnaer, De Dikdakkers, Lucas and Gea and OG3NE continued the festivities. Regional celebrities such as René Karst and Jannes were also present. The last one, known for the songs Floating to happiness and May or may not, ended the evening.
Organizer Bert Otten says it is important that there are also music festivals for people with disabilities. “No big festivals are organized for that.” Otten and his fellow organizers and the group of volunteers set up the marquee especially for the target group. From parking aids to assistance with getting in and out and taking people to their seats: everything seems to have been thought through.
After the GigaG festival, the party tent at Pesse will remain standing for a while, because Muziekweekend Pesse is on the program this weekend.
