It is an early walker who discovered the animal around eight o’clock this morning on the beach of Wenduine and notified the volunteers of the NorthSealTeam. That is the organization that saves seals on our coast. The dolphin is not injured and the fire brigade can bring it back into open water. There is a good chance that the dolphin will wash ashore again in the coming days and will not survive, experts fear. The North Sea is not deep enough for the animal.
