This afternoon, 22 teams competed against each other in the Dragon Boat Race on the Vaart on Erica. The competition was organized for the second time by the Waterspektakel Foundation, after last year’s success.
A team of nine consists of eight paddlers and a drummer. And of those nine, at least two must be women on the team. No professionals are allowed to participate on the water at Erica and the teams mainly consist of groups of friends.
