Sinterklaas arrived from Spain on the Scheldt quays in Antwerp on Saturday afternoon, November 12. The Saint was received there by his good friend Bart Peeters and by Antwerp mayor Bart De Wever (N-VA), but it was mainly the dressed-up children who stole the show. We followed the entry from the front row: “A Nintendo Switch or a scooter? A carrot is good too!”
