royaltyPrincess Alexandra (32) of Luxembourg gave the yes on Saturday to Frenchman Nicolas Bagory (34) during a ceremony in the town hall of Luxembourg City. Alexandra is the only daughter of Grand Duke Henri (68) and Grand Duchess María Teresa (67). The latter wore an outfit from the Belgian fashion house Natan for the festivities.
The civil ceremony in the town hall of Luxembourg City took place in an intimate circle. There were only fifteen guests, including the couple’s parents and Princess Alexandra’s four brothers. No members of other royal houses were invited. After the ceremony, the brand new bridal couple took the time to greet the eager spectators who had gathered. Princess Alexandra shone in a white cape from the Italian luxury brand Valentino. The outfit of her mother, Grand Duchess María Teresa, was from the Belgian fashion house Natan, where other royals such as Queen Mathilde and the Dutch Queen Máxima also like to shop.
After the ceremony, the group moved to the palace where a reception will be held at 6 p.m. for a larger part of the family, friends and representatives of the Luxembourg authorities. On Saturday, April 29, the church wedding will take place on the French Côte d’Azur. Perhaps a grand celebration will follow.

According to the magazine ‘Lëtzebuerger Land’, the run-up to the wedding was bumpy. For example, Grand Duchess María Teresa (67) would have behaved inappropriately towards her employees. “She rants all the time,” said an anonymous source.
Princess Alexandra is the only daughter of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess María Teresa. She studied philosophy in the United States and Paris, and then specialized in religions and conflict resolution. What she is doing right now is unclear. The Luxembourg Court does report that Alexandra is committed to refugees as a volunteer. She is also the patron of both the Luxembourg Animal Protection and the Blind Association.
Little is known about her fiancé. In a concise biography, the court reports that Nicolas is 35, grew up in Brittany and studied political science and classical literature. A French weekly discovered that he works for a Catholic publishing house that publishes books about the faith.
