In Moscow, from Sunday, the treatment period for patients with coronavirus will be reduced from 14 to seven days, provided that the patient does not have symptoms of COVID-19. About it informs the capital operational headquarters with reference to the decision of Rospotrebnadzor and the order of the Ministry of Health.

This measure only applies to those whose diagnosis was confirmed on February 6 or later.

According to the headquarters, before the end of the term, the doctor of the polyclinic should contact the patient and conduct an audio consultation, and based on its results, remotely close or extend the sick leave if the patient still has symptoms.

If the patient was infected with COVID-19 before February 6, the quarantine will be 14 days.
