Rarely have I met someone who was so driven to put ‘his’ village on the map as Jan Blaauw. Although born in Groningen, everything he did revolved around Diever. And he did a lot. A lot. There are few clubs, associations or organizations in which he was not involved to a greater or lesser extent.
