Employees of organizations, individual entrepreneurs and other citizens who sell goods on the territory of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra (KhMAO) were obliged to show the buyer a QR code confirming vaccination against coronavirus or a past illness, upon request. The corresponding decree was signed by the governor of the region Natalya Komarova, document published on the county government website.
In accordance with the document, not only buyers, but also those who receive the service or order the performance of work, can require a QR code.

The decree came into force on December 25. Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug became the first region in the country to introduce such a practice.
In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, since mid-October, there has been a requirement for compulsory vaccination of certain categories of citizens. It applies to medical workers, MFC employees and workers in the field of transport, as well as shift workers, civil servants and people over 60 years old.
