Ajax has successfully completed the practice campaign towards the second half of the season. Telstar was defeated 3-0 at Sportpark De Toekomst. The White Lions fought valiantly, but saw the team from Amsterdam run out to a margin of three hits just before the end.
Again an exhibition match of Ajax was completed under lock and key. Earlier that was also the case against FC Volendam (5-4). Ajax started with the strongest line-up and again had access to the World Cup visitors. Davy Klaassen once again lived up to his nickname ‘Mister 1-0’ by scoring the opening goal after 20 minutes.

On a windy and wet Sportpark de Toekomst, Telstar offered sufficient resistance to keep Ajax on a small margin. After the break, Telstar also managed to stay in the game for a long time, but Brian Brobbey still doubled the score fifteen minutes before the end. After a nice attack, the striker was the finisher. Brobbey ended the game in the 82nd minute. Francisco Conceiçao’s shot hit the post via keeper Joey Houweling, after which Brobbey simply tapped in the 3-0.
