The Berlin Mecca for all dance and pop music fans was in Reinickendorf on Saturday. The summer tour of Schlager Radio starts and of course BZ was there.
From 2 p.m. Schlager classics resounded across the parking lot of the district association of allotment gardeners on Roedernallee. Always nice in four-four time: The first Disco Fox fans swam to the hits of hit greats like Olaf Henning and Ella Endlich in the early afternoon – DJ Marcel had them all!
Long queues formed at the bratwurst and beer queue. Both were for free! Program manager Oliver Dunk (59): “This summer tour takes us straight to the listeners. We say thank you and celebrate for four hours every Saturday.” Six of the parties will take place in Berlin through August.
Also present: morning show presenter Norm Sträche (48). For once, he was able to sleep in and didn’t have to work until the afternoon. “Normally four o’clock gets up, today it’s fun to finally meet the listeners again.” To the delight of Anneliese Rabsch (77) and Barbara Menzel (75) from Blankenburg. The two got an autograph from Straeche.
Rainer Klein (76) and Angelika Voigt (70) are big Schlager fans and came all the way from Altglienicke. “We are very connected to the radio station and will be there for the next few weeks.”
And the next party? It could increase for you! Until the beginning of August, allotment associations and campsite operators can register for the Schlager Radio Summer Tour using the contact form www.schlagerradio.de apply.
