F.irenze once again becomes the “capital” of Kindness. It will start on May 17th, until May 23rd, the Gentile Italy Festivalwith widespread events in all 5 districts and in Palazzo Vecchio. The event declines the theme of kindness in the most diverse fieldsfrom the world of economy and business to health, well-being, education, interreligious dialogue, art, culture and the environment.
The fulcrum of the event will be the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, but panels and experiential and confrontational moments will animate locations located in all the districts, from the Novecento Museum to the San Donato park, passing through the Teatro della Compagnia, BibliotecaNova, Chiostro di Santa Maria Novella, the Murate.
“After last year’s debut, with this second edition we involve all neighborhoods. The goal is to raise the attention on kindness as a value, and on its social impact, promoting a 360-degree reflection on the most varied areas, economy, health, science, culture, environmental sustainability “, underlines the deputy mayor Alessia Bettini.
The guests of Italia Gentile
Among the guests Daniel Lumerabestselling author and founder of the My Life Design ONLUS Association and the Italian Gentile Movement, Immaculata De VivoProfessor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and of Epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health, father Guidalberto Bormolinipresident of the ODV TuttoèVita ETS, Donatella Bianchijournalist and president of WWF Italy, Sebastiano Sommaactor, Guido StrattaPeople and Organization director of the Enel Group, Cristiana Capotondiactress, Lorenzo Baglionisongwriter, and then experts, psychologists, architects, philosophers, writers, scholars, and many other surprises.
The detailed program of the event will be communicated in the coming days. It is the second edition of the event organized by Municipality of Florence and MUS.E, together with the My Life Design ONLUS Association and the TuttoèVita ETS ODV. Last year, in its debut, the Tuscan capital joined of the network of friendly municipalities promoted by the Movimento Italia Gentile, a project of the My Life Design Onlus.
