In “Alle Broke” Disarstar paints a bleak picture of life on Germany’s streets

Disarstar is back in his element and with “Alle Broke” delivers an angry (and unfortunately realistic) situation report of the reality of life in German cities, where the gap between rich and poor is widening.

Disarstar delivers a razor-sharp analysis of society

On a dark trap beat by the producer duo The Cratez, the Hamburg rapper reports on social inequality and a lack of prospects in partially gentrified districts and a politics that looks the other way – also when it comes to racism and police violence. Disarstar recently proved that sharp social criticism is still part of German rap and can even take place in the charts with his highly acclaimed album DEUTSCHER OKTOBER, which was released last year.

St. Pauli Geisterbahn, everyone here once had a plan/
And it wasn’t sitting on the pavement in front of Kentucky Fried Chicken/
patrol car, operation driving/
They say nobody is poor in Germany/
Then why are there three gendarmes for everyone here?
With iron on your belt and hatred in your eyes?/

Recently, the rapper was a little more moderate. On his recently released MICRODOSE EP, Disarstar gave an insight into his emotional world and, together with the producer team The Jugglerz, delivered a pop sound by his standards. The record included feature guests such as Gentleman and Esther Graf. It is still unclear whether the current song announces a new work by the rapper.

Disarstars MICRO BOX EP was released on April 22, 2022.
