The important home game of the futsal players of Leekster Eagles/Amysoft against VNS United from Amsterdam was canceled even before the kick-off could be taken.
Due to a leak in the roof of the sports hall in Leek, the match for the (provisional) second place in the relegation group of the Eredivisie could not take place.
Peter Westra, chairman of Leekster Eagles, regretted that. “The leak was caused by continuous rainfall. Unfortunately there were no other fields available and there was no alternative option.”
Westra could not give complete certainty about the time to make up, although it seems that the game will take place on April 14.
