Images of burglars in the home of a poultry farmer who was murdered 1.5 years ago

Poultry farmer Jan van Mullekom was seriously mauled in his own home in Helenaveen in July last year and died from the injuries. In November, the house, which was sealed due to a police investigation, was broken into. The police show images in Bureau Brabant in which three burglars can be seen and heard.

Severely injured, 47-year-old Van Mullekom was found on July 11, 2022 in his house on Lage Brugweg in Helenaveen. He was rushed to hospital, but died there from his injuries. It was soon assumed that the robbery had been violent, but what the burglars wanted to steal is still a mystery. 47-year-old Van Mullekom had a family and two children.

There may be a connection between the two things
The police have now released the images of the three burglars who broke into Van Mullekom’s house around half past nine in the evening on November 2. That was sealed due to police investigation. This was clearly visible. According to police, there may be a connection between last year’s murder and the November burglary. It is “at least striking” that the house was broken into while the investigation was still ongoing, police said.

The burglars enter by breaking a window and search for something in the house for fifteen minutes. A window in the garage is also broken through which one of the burglars climbs in. They spend half an hour and cause quite a bit of damage. Snippets of conversations from the burglars can also be heard, although they are difficult to understand.
