Vicente Moreno, the UD Almería coach highlighted the leap in quality his team had taken against Real Madrid, but regretted that they missed numerous scoring chances again, which makes you stay “with a silly face”.
“We had Real Madrid ahead and it is valued more, but we have done two days in which there are situations of improvement as in goal actions. On the previous day we were the team that scored the most goals”, he recalled at a press conference.
“Today we have made 16 against Real Madrid and you leave with the feeling that the improvement you are having goes hand in hand with a result. I think it’s hard, because the players have deserved a lot more, but the other day it was Rayo and today Madrid and it’s valued a little more, but I’m left with a silly face,” Moreno added.
Regarding the development of the game, he pointed out that “playing against a team like Real Madrid, You have to take advantage of the game moments that you have to get a good result and even so they win the game because it is a team of a high level”.
