Vincent was director of the metal goods company Metacon, which has been called Metacon-Next for over a year. The company his grandfather had started in 1927 in Gouda.
“Grandpa started manufacturing tricycles and child seats,” Vincent’s wife Danny recalls. ,,His father Cock started with roller shutters and Vincent expanded it into a company that produces burglar-resistant roller shutters and fire-resistant doors.” According to Danny, Vincent was not a student. He had always been interested in the company. ,,When he was 15 he always went to work there during the holidays. Metacon was still at the Turfsingel in Gouda at the time.”
