Ilves’ quarterfinals against Ässi started perfectly. The team leads 2–0 after the first set.
Aku Räty gave Ilves a 1–0 lead after only three minutes of play. Petri Kontiola passed the puck to the goal when the Ässie defense was completely relaxed and Räty was free.
Also in the 2–0 goal, Alakerta of the Pori team spread to the hands. Dominik Masin was able to shoot the puck into the net from the top spot.
