Ilse DeLange’s laughter fills her cozy studio space in the Wisseloord Studios complex in Hilversum. She takes two steps towards the window in front of a table with ten pontifically displayed prizes, musical trophies from the Eurovision Song Contest, the Edisons and the Buma Awards. ‘They don’t usually look like that.
