‘Illusions perdues’ with seven awards big winner of French film prizes Césars

The Césars, the French film prizes, were awarded on Friday. ‘Illusions perdues’ received the prize for best film. The Belgian Christophe Beaucarne also won a César for the photography in that film. The Belgian actresses Virginie Efra (best actress), Cécile de France (best supporting actress) and Salomé Dewaels (best female promise) were unable to cash in on their nomination.
