Illegal cigarette trade rolled up in Sint-Eloois-Winkel: 35 million cigarettes seized, 29 arrests

In Sint-Eloois-Winkel, a part of Ledegem in the province of West Flanders, customs and police invaded on Monday in a shed where illegal cigarettes were produced on a large scale. 29 of the 31 ’employees’ present, all Eastern Europeans, were arrested. The other two could flee. 35 million cigarettes were seized.
