Serious accident on Tuesday afternoon in Berlin-Friedenau. Reason: an illegal car race!
According to several witness statements, the race took place around 5 p.m. on Bundesallee near Sarrazinstraße. A red Mercedes AMG C63s is said to have been thrown into parked vehicles and turned around on its own axis.
The force of the impact tore the right front wheel out of the vehicle and the car came to a sideways stop on the road. The driver is said to be slightly injured. The second vehicle involved in the race is said to be fugitive.
The federal avenue is completely closed towards the city center, a specialist commissioner for traffic offenses is expected at the scene of the accident.
