Musician Ilkka Alanko lives in Espoo with his wife and two children.
The band Four Roses Ilkka Alanko appeared at the Iskelmä Gala in Tampere on Saturday with the Ukrainian flag on his sleeve.
Alanko said their home may be becoming residents in the middle of the war in Ukraine. Alanko lives in Espoo with his wife and children aged 16 and 14.
– My wife knows Ukrainians, and we get refugees to our house. Yes, we can accommodate it, Alanko commented.
Founded in 1982, Neljä Ruusua was nominated for the band of the year at the Iskelmä Gala.
A mega-concert is coming

Haloo Helsinki, one of Finland’s number one bands! said at the Iskelmä Gala that he was already looking forward to June 18th. Their mega-concert at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
The band opened the Iskelmä gala Touch me with their hit.
– We have 16 years together. We have grown democratically
together and everyone is listened to. We have four different personalities and trust, openness and equality are our watchwords, said Haloo Helsinki, who last gave a concert in Vaasa in December.
The band’s credit maker is singer Elli Haloo’s little sister Emilia, who is misleadingly reminiscent of her sister.
– Since 2017, I have been making up the band, the makeup artist said.

Olli Halonen, 34, was nominated for the Iskelmä Gala Newcomer of the Year / Breakthrough Series. However, the victory went To Erika Vikman.
At the gala, Halonen gave the reporter a sample of her Kuopio dialect, but said that she had lived in Helsinki since she was 19 years old.
