The forest party of the Holmenkollen Ski Championships has been equated with a blue-and-white puck carnival, but a visit to Oslo shows that the comparison is too diluted. Going on Holmenkollen is quite uninhibited.

The Holmenkollen event is officially called a skiing festival. It’s a catchy term, because the event overflows with love.
– I have been to Kollen several times and there have always been wonderful overnight guests. This is a similar casual relationship event to Christmas on a Swedish ship, says the Finn Tiina.

Matti has been at Kollen both with his family of four and with a group of friends.
– We have always spent the night in a half-team tent with a stove, he says.
This year’s trip was started on Thursday from the capital region in our own car, we took the ferry to Stockholm and drove through Sweden to Oslo.
