The first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest will be contested today, Tuesday, May 9 at 22:00 Finnish time. Käärijä, representing Finland, will fight with representatives of 14 other countries for the final places in the evening’s exciting semi-finals. Ten artists continue their journey to the final on Saturday.
The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Liverpool, England this year, as the 2022 Eurovision winner Ukraine cannot host the event due to the war raging in the country.
In the first semi-final, Serbia, Sweden, Latvia, Ireland, Moldova, Switzerland, Norway, Israel, Portugal, the Netherlands, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Malta and the Czech Republic will compete for the final places with Suomen Käärij.
Norwegian Alessandra is the opening artist of the entire first semi-final. of Israel Noa Kirel appearing ninth and the pre-favorite, the famous Swedish Loreen appears 11. The wrapper appears in the second half of the semi-final as the last performer. He ends the whole evening Cha Cha Cha with his performance.
