Pand the boys of The College 7 it’s time for exams. Tonight at 21.20 on Rai 2 airs thelast episode of the docureality branded Banijay Italia. Students have to face the final test, i.e. the dreaded eighth grade exams. However, the path to get to sit in front of the professors is still long and tortuous. Thanks to the raids of the previous weeks.
The College 7the previews of the last episode
Between students who risk being expelled – yes, even a moment before the end credits – and others who have to learn the value of commitment and study, the class prepares for the last test. L’eighth week at the Convitto Regina Margherita in Anagni it is lively. The protagonists know that they have to work hard to be promoted and get the diploma.
The amount of work is important. They have to bring everything to the exams the program carried out by the professors during this experience and not everyone thinks they are up to it. Not in all cases it is a matter of insecurity or fear of not making it, but of a few hours spent on the books in the previous weeks.
Well, heartbroken and frightened by the sleepless nights that await them, the schoolboys rebel. Will the protest help? Usually breaking the rules only leads to trouble. Who knows, however, if Dean Bosisio will show himself magnanimous and will go towards his students. After all, hope is the last to die.
Two college students who failed their eighth grade exams
In addition to fight against the system to study lessthe boys face others fears. Those linked to emotions, to the innermost feelings, to one’s self. During the interviews with teachers and supervisors, almost all say they have changed. Sometimes the behaviors adopted in the classroom or in other areas of the institute suggest something else, but growth is a slow path and in stages.
Certainly, compared to the first installments, they look completely different. Merit of the lectures, reproaches and punishments, sometimes severe, but also of dialogue. More than just school teachers, the adults were real guides. Points of reference always present and available for those who need them.
Now, however, we need to think about the exams. Despite the closeness, the collegiate students must demonstrate that they are up to the situation. Unfortunately, not everyone passes it brilliantly. On the contrary, two fail to obtain the diploma because they failed the written tests in Italian and mathematics. Even the oral exams, however, turn out to be more complicated than expected for some. Who is it about?
After the final test, 1958 ends with a party. A prom in which they retrace the stages lived inside the boarding school, from their arrival to their departure. A journey in 8 episodes in which each of the survivors of expulsion has changed, grown up and is now ready to face life – and school – differently. Perhaps.
A feuilleton called Elisa and Gabriel
The College 7then, it was also the scene of friendship and love relationships born under the watchful eye of the cameras. Among all, the one between Elisa Angius and Gabriel Rennis. From beautiful and damned initials, over the course of the episodes they have set aside the rebellion in favor of the rules. Gabriel, at least, did. Elisa, on the other hand, carried on an exhausting tug of war with the principal and teachers, risking being expelled more or less at the end of each episode.
Of course she got away with it. I deserve not so much the head sprinkled with ashes and the punishments, but rather the liaison with classmate. They are the protagonists of the seventh edition of the docureality and, as such, two strong elements of the programme. Giving up on them would have meant risking giving up public interest in the fate of this love story.
Over twenty years of reality shows and the like teach that strong characters are fundamental, they create dynamics and are almost always saved. In the last weeks, Gabriel has turned into a model student. Elisa, on the other hand, still struggles to abide by the rules, but she seems to be on the right track. Unfortunately, the unexpected is always lurking and Rennis could be ejected at the beginning of tonight’s episode for accidentally breaking a window.
The change of Samuel Rosica de The boarding school 7
Gabriel and Elisa aren’t the only ones the cameras focus on. Another collegiate who earned his moment of glory is Samuel Rosica. Between jokes to professors and the innate ability to always respond in an impertinent wayhis stay in the courtroom is accompanied by a constant and irrepressible desire to get into trouble.
After all these weeks, however, it seems that something is starting to change. To run to her aid is the overseer Matteo Caremoli. «Is life a joke?», He asks him the umpteenth time he is sent out of the classroom because of his disrespectful attitude towards him.
“Do you know what a person’s first change is?”continues Caremoli. “His willingness to really change. I invite you to reflect on this. Think about it”. For the first time, the boy stops to reflect on the suggestion he has received and makes a choice. «He You can see that he cares», he says, “I want to make him proud. He’s like a dad”. As always, under the shell of aspiring adults who never have to ask, hides a fragile soul, ready to disintegrate at the first breath of wind.
