IKWV opens summer season on the coast

The seaside bathing season has officially started. This means that from now on all coastal municipalities will also provide lifeguards, albeit not yet in all swimming zones. In June, the number of swimming zones is still limited. And after 2 corona years, the beach rescue services expect us to have a more or less normal tourist summer again.

Over the past two years, the corona restrictions have put a lot of pressure on beach rescue services as some bathers ignored orders, sometimes reacting aggressively. And here and there confrontations on the beach got out of hand. IKWV exists 40 years. To give it some extra luster, a retro coastal poster has been designed. The poster also shows the landmarks of all coastal municipalities and the historical uniforms of the lifeguards.
