Iivo and Kerttu Niskanen won in Vuokatti

Iivo Niskanen has once again won the cross-country skating and cross-country running competition in Vuokatti. Niskanen won Vuokatti’s Aateli Race for the eighth time.

Niskanen took the race with a time of 58.38.6. Second came Remi Lindholm, which was 25.6 seconds away. He took the last podium Arsi Ruuskanen.

Niskanen rose to number one in the event’s winning statistics Aino-Kaisa Saarinen. The competition was held for the first time in 2005.

Iivo’s big sister took the victory in the women’s race Kerttu Niskanen. Second place kicked Eveliina Piippo and the third place Chinese Qinghua Ma.

For Kertu, the victory was the third in a row in Vuokatti and the fourth in total. Niskanen won the second place with the final part.

The two-day race started on Tuesday with a roller skating climb to the top of Vuokatinvaara. On Wednesday, the program included cross-country running and rollerblading.
