The Lions and Ladies Lions were celebrated on Monday in the wind and blizzard at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, but the celebration of the sports heroes is not over.
Now it’s the turn of the super duo to ski. Iivo and Kerttu Niskanen receive a heroic reception at the festivities organized by their hometown Vieremä.
The event starts at around 6 pm, and Iltalehti’s live broadcast will start well in advance.
Einarinpuisto praises Niskas for the great Olympic moments they offered to the Finnish people. Iivo won gold, silver and bronze in Beijing, Kerttu grabbed silver and bronze.
