Iida Vainio, known as Kulta-Iida, turned 20 years old. He tells how he celebrates his birthday and how he has changed.
Media personality Iida Vainio turns 20 today, September 30. Vainio celebrates her birthday by heading to Estonia with her new boyfriend, musician Archie Cruz, 31, and her best friend.
In his Instagram post, Vainio described the past year as windy. Among other things, he has participated for the first time in a TV show, Farm to Finland. In addition, he has found both a best friend and love, traveled and worked.
Vainio says in his social media publication that both his friends and himself have noticed spiritual growth. Iltalehti asked Vainio how this came to light.
– I no longer do things so impulsively. My nerves stay better when, for example, social media comments, Vainio says.
Vainio was only 18 years old when he became a well-known face overnight. In February 2022, he was at Helsinki-Vantaa airport against the Olympic gold-winning Lions. Vainio was soon buzzing on social media: who is that woman in the gold dress?
At the time, 18-year-old Vainio from Lappeenranta was doing gigs as a hotel breakfast waiter. With the social phenomenon, he also made headlines. Among other things, Aleksi Valavuori immediately noticed Vainio. With the Valavuori connection, Vainio did his own Kultakorneri broadcast in the form of a live stream for a while.
Last August, the men’s futsal league FC Kemi announced that it had hired Vainio in its media team.
– This has required a lot of growth – and I have grown a lot in a year. At this age, a year really does a lot, Vainio comments on the moments he lived in the various spotlights of the public.
Iida Vainio and Archie Cruz have said that they will get married in May next year.
– We just went to see the premises of the Kulosaaren Casino and the fitting of the wedding dress. We will get married on May 17, Cruz told Iltalehte earlier in September.
– I hope that the wedding party will be the party of the century. One that no one will forget, the musician said.
Vainio was on the same lines.
– There must be good music and bands, we are both music people, he commented.
