– Sometimes things go so easily that in the big picture it’s easy to think that this is how it was supposed to go.
I saw a media personality and an entrepreneur Iida Ketola start sharing the good news on his Instagram post. Ketola says that his and the professional freelancer Janne Elonen-Kulmalan moving in together is progressing because he has sold his current dream apartment in the countryside.
– I can’t wait to get the keys to our new home, which is a little Parsonage from the early 1940s. It’s like it was made for us down to every detail, so finding it couldn’t have been just a coincidence, Ketola rejoices in her post.
– And it’s not that, as much as everyone was scared by the long sales times in these challenging times, I got my beloved house sold before it had time to go to public sale, he continues.
Ketola says that he has decided to give up more than his dream apartment.
– Today, when I went to write the deed of sale with the buyers, I also took my old wedding ring to the sale. Right now it feels good to give up things that have unnecessary ballast, he concludes.
Ketola was a married media personality Renne Korppilan with for about five years, until they parted ways in 2021.

Ketola told Iltalehte at the beginning of October that the idea of her and Elonen-Kulmala moving in together started as a joke. They happened to notice a sale ad about an interesting apartment, which they immediately fell in love with.
The media personality admitted that she was reluctant to put her current apartment up for sale, but knew that the new house would make their everyday life much easier.
– My current home is a bad location for Janne. He plays sports as a profession, so he must have an easy connection to his home gym, where he also coaches, Ketola stated in the interview.
– You don’t always have to move between two apartments. We won’t have more free time by chance now, even if we move in together, but it will certainly (make it easier), he added.
