Chelsea, one of the English Premier League teams, announced that iftar dinner will be given at the stadium.
In the statement made on the club’s official website, it was stated that the fast-breaking dinner to be given at Stamford Bridge Stadium is on Sunday, March 26.
It was stated that the open iftar will be held in cooperation with the Ramadan Tent Project, an award-winning charity celebrating its 10th anniversary and aiming to bring people together.
Simon Taylor, President of the Chelsea Foundation, said: “I am delighted to announce our open iftar with the Ramadan Tent Project. We are proud to be the first Premier League club to do so. Recognizing Ramadan and the Muslim community is a crucial part of our work to promote religious tolerance. I can’t wait to welcome people.” he said.
